What is your fee?
My full fee is $175 per 50-minute session, and $225 per 75-minute session (75-minute sessions are always planned for ahead of time and are used for EMDR trauma processing sessions.)
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit

Do you take insurance?
I am paneled with MHN and Anthem Medi-Cal plans. For other plans, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. To find out if this is an option for you, call your insurance company and ask if they reimburse for services provided by an out-of-network mental health provider, the rate of reimbursement and whether your deductible must be met prior to reimbursement benefits kicking in.
Do you slide your fee?
I do keep a number of need-based sliding scale spots. I cannot slide my fee if you will be submitting for reimbursement from your insurance.
What are your COVID practices?
I follow current health orders by the city of Pasadena. During the pandemic, this has necessitated ongoing flexibility. During periods of high community transmission, I move all sessions to telehealth (either phone or secure video, client preference). While in person, if masks are required indoors by the LA and Pasadena health orders, then we wear masks and I keep some in my office to provide to clients as needed. I am also lucky enough to have a large window that I keep open, and have arranged furniture to provide 6 feet distance. I have an air purifier running and the building has upgraded their ventilation system to meet current CDC guidelines. I also regularly clean and sanitize my office, and there is hand sanitizer located in the hallway outside of my office as well as inside my office.
Please feel free to send me an email with any other questions, or to schedule a consult to see if we feel like a good fit.
